Types of glass

Annealed, ceramic, laminated, tempered – these are some of the many options that we have. Do you know we can cut a glass sheet to a tolerance of approximately 1/16th of an inch? That’s the level of precision we have, something that many glass shops may not be able to match. 1. Ceramic glass – Ceramic glass has many common properties of ceramic and glass. They are ideal for places that can quickly change their temperature, like a cooktop or stovetop. 2. Laminated glass – Laminated glass remains intact even when you break it. This happens because of the films present between the panes. 3. Tempered glass – Tempered glass gets special treatment so that it breaks into small cubes when shattered. This makes tempered glass safer than the rest as it doesn’t have jagged ends. 4. Annealed glass – This type of glass is suitable for windows in a few low-traffic areas. Annealed refers to the hot and cold treatment of the glass. In addition to these common types of glass, we also have a few more varieties.
